Personal Printing Ensures Quality in Healthcare
To ensure highest quality management, each patient at Helios Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken is issued with a specialist monitoring sheet. Previously, one employee was assigned the task of printing and distributing these monitoring sheets which resulted in significant costs.
The Solution:
Personal Printing was installed on the server. Nursing staff print the required documents to a common holding account. When an employee authenticates at any of the central printers, the print job is retrieved and immediately printed out. Authentication is via the ThinPrintReader TPR-10 by SEH with RFIDbased smartcards.
The Result:
Quality health management is supported, healthcare regulations met and confidentiality maintained, however the cost of printing essential medical documentation is significantly reduced.
